"We will fight for you."
Those were the first words I uttered to splash when we found out about his diagnosis. I realize now that's the reason why I've never thought about your question. And now that it has been brought up, my answer is: it's not an option for me.
#fight
P.s. I missed this blog and remembered it all of a sudden. If you're writing back, please do it through a post so that it will look like letters to each other.

loss
i mourn with you. lost my inaanak, budgy's bestfriend. God gives and takes away but that heartbeat means we'll see him/her in heaven. Please don't ever entertain thoughts that would bring guilt coz from the very beginning the baby was in Father's hands. Oh, i pray for waves of comfort to engulf you through this season. love you. i'm sorry you had to go through this. blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted. blessed.

what to do with envy
farm life.
cottage home.
apple trees.
cows.
windmills.
tractors.
white front porches.
grass.
schedules and routines.
wisdom.
bookshelves.
order.
excellence.
I am seriously envious. And these are what's on top of my envy list.
But I stop and not let them take root in my heart.
I won't let them grow into wistfulness and covetousness and bitterness.
I sift through the list, and ask for the things that God could grow in me.
I plant them in the soil of contentment, water them with perseverance,
and let them soak in the light of God's word, which promises
wisdom without finding fault
everything that is necessary for living the truly good life
and everlasting arms underneath.
Yes, I will be content.
"Wherever you are, be all there. Live to the hilt every situation you believe to be the will of God."
